a.28.58.txt Personally appeared in open court Theodore Nordhouse and made application to be admitted a citizen of the United States of America and in support of said application, proved by Frederick Tegener and William Telgmann, both citizens of this State that he has resided within the limits of the United States of America for more than five years last past and the last year thereof in the State of Texas, that during that time he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principals of the Constitution of the United States of America and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same and the said Theodore Nordhouse having shown to the satisfaction of this Court that he has faithfully complied with the naturalization laws oŁ the United States Congress and is entitled to the benefits of the same and he having also made oath that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America, and he having entirely alignser (?) and renounced all allegiance to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovreignty whatever and particularly to the King of Hanover of whom before he was a subject. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said Theodore Nordhouse be and he is hereby admitted a citizen of the United States of America, and that letters of citizenship issue accordingly.
