a.29.58.txt Personally appeared in open court William Telgemann and made application to be admitted a citizen of the United States, and in support of said application, proved by Frederick Tegener and Adolph Rosenthal, both citizens of the United States of America, that he has resided within the limits and jurisdiction of the United States of America for more than five years last past and the last year thereof in the State of Texas, that during that time he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same and the said William Telghouse (sp) having shown to the satisfaction of this Court that he has faithfully complied with the naturalization laws of the United States Congress and is entitled to the benefits of the same and he having also made oath that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America, and he having entirely renounced and alignser (?) all allegiance and fidellity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovreignty whatever and particularly to the Dukedom of Brunswick of whom before he was a subject. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said William Telgemann be and he is hereby admitted a citizen of the United States of America, and that letters of citizenship issue accordingly.
