On this the 10th day of November, 1913, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr
County, Texas, being convened in a regular session at the court house of said county, in
Kerrville, Texas, all the members of said court being praeant, to wit:

On this day came on to be heard the petition o! Bus. Spenrath and over fifty
other persons, who are resident property tax payers and qualified voters oP Commissioners'
Preoinet IJo. Throe of Kerr County, Texas, being a politiosl subdivision oP said county
and described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the Id. E. corner of Precinat No. 1 in Kerr and Gillespie County
1ina, Thence South, west, & S. E. with line of Preoinot~T3o. 1 to the Id. W. corner of
Precinct ilo. 2 oa Sur. No. 1423, Thence S. E. in due course to DT'. Fs. corner Sur. I3o. 33,
Geo. T. Howard with line Iio. 2, Thence South, west and East with the East line oP Pre-
alnet Ido. 2 to its S.' E. corner in line of Kerr and Bandara Counties. 'Thence S. E. with
said County line to the 5. E. corner Kerr County. 'Thence N. with E. 13ne oP. Kerr County
to its N. E. corner. Thence {lest with said Kerr and Gillespie line to~the plane oP
beginning, to be created into a road district of %arr County, Texas, and that bonds be
ieened by said Road District of Kerr County, Texas, in the sum of Two Thousand Dollars,
bearing interest at the rate oP five per centum per annum per annum and maturing twenty
years Prom the date of the issuance of said bonds and redeemable at the option oP said
Road District of Karr County, Texsa,at any time after flvr years Prom the date thereof,
for the purpose of constructing, maintaining anfl operating macadamised, graveled ar
paved roads and turnpikes or in aid thereof.
And it apnearinr; to the Court that said petition is signed by more than fifty
of the resident property tax paying voters of the above and Po re going described territory
oP $arr County, Texas, and that the amount of the bonds t0 be issued mill hot exceed one-
fourth oP the assessed valuation of the real property situated in said above described
territory of Kerr County, Texas.

District to be knorm and designated se Road District Ito. Three of Berr County, Texas.
Aud it is further ordered by the Court that an election be held in the said above
doscribed Road District Ido. Three oi' $err County, 'iexas, on tho 13th dny of December,
A. D. 1913, which is not less than thirty days from the date of this order, to determine
whether or not bonds of said Hoad District lio. Three oY Kerr County, 'Texas, shall be
issued in the amount of Two Thousand Dollars, boaring int~•sest at the rite oY five per
centum per anmuo and maturing twenty years from the date thereof and cede ecuab le at the
option of said Road Dist ri at IIO. Throo of Korr County, 'Texas, at any tune after Yive years
from their date, and whether a tax shall be levied upon the property of said Hoad District
I:o. Throe o~ Kerr County, Texas, subject to taxation, for the purpose oi' paying the inter-
est on said bonds and to provide n sinking fund for the redemption of said bands at matur-
ity.
Iiot ice of said election shall be given by publication in a newspaper published in
Kerr County, Texas, for four successive w~e eks baYo re the date of saifl election and in
addition thereto notices oY said election shall be posted up at three public places in
said Road District Ito. Three of Kerr County, Texas, one of which said notices shall be
posted at the Court Ifouae door of Kerr County, 'Texas, for three weeks prior to the Bete of
said election.
It ie ihrther ordered by the Court that said election shall be held at the follow-
ing places in said Hoad Di et rict ido .Three of the County aforesaid, to i:~it: At the Cypress
Creek school house, the usual votinr, place of election Precinct Ido. 3, and at the Lane
Valley school house, the usual voting place of election Precinct Ido. 8, and being the
only voting precincts within the boundaries of said Road District tio. Throe of said
County; and Louis Neurnbo r=,~or is hereby appointed manager of said election at the Cypress
Creek votino- box and H. J. Heinen is hereby appointed manager oi' said election at the
Lane Valley voting box.
Said elo cti.:n shall be held under the provisions oY the General Laws of Texas, and
the returns of said election shall be made as nor provided for mating returns oY ale etione
for the purpose of determining whether county bonds shall be issued.
All persons who are property tax-payers and who are queli ti ed electors residing
within said Road District llo. Three of $err County, Texas, shall be .allowed to vote at
said election and all voters desiring to enpport the proposition to issue bonds shall have
errittan or printed on their ballots the words "B'or the issuance o£ bonds and the levying
of a tax in payment thereoY", and all tho ae opposed to the proposition to iss.re bonds
shall have mitten or printed on their ballots the vro rde "Against the issuance of bonds
and the levying of a tax in payment therefor."
A cony of this order signed by the County Judge of the County aforesaid shall serve
as a prover noti co of said election and the County Judge is directed to cause said notice
to be published in a nevrepaper in said .err County, '1'exas/ for
Your aucce wive weeks next preceding said eleotion and cause a notice thereof to be
posted at three public places in said Hoad District ]do. Three of said County and one notice
at the Court House door thereoY, for three reeks prior to the date of said election.
