b 9. B. Ry. Co, and 1 8/4 sores oP land out oP Survey Ho. 1681, Abstract Ho. g84, Cortif-
ioate Ho. 4/1486, ieeaed to the G. C. 8o S. B. Ry. Co., to see about making a change oP the
pnblio road norose h1e said premises, and for a ooneideration oP $ for damages,
Y2'. Emil Eeesmann agreed and allowed me, as Commissioner for %err County, to ahange the
pnblio road Prom the foot of the hill to the south beak oP the Guadalupe, through,and ~
across his premises. At the time said change in the road was made across said beaemann's
premises, J. R. Orr, owned and held vendor's lien notes against the land, which notes were
easonted by Hr. Emil Seesmsnn to said J. R. Orr- ae part purchase money Por the land herein-
before described- and since said change was made, the property has been deeded book to J. R.
Orr, Por consideration oP the surrendering arid. aenoellation, eta., of the vendor's lien
notes herein referred ta, ezeonted by said Iseemenn to J. R. Orr, and said J. R. Orr,
immediately upon receiving possession of the land and premises book from Yr. 7seemann, began
to oomplein of the damages sustained tg the property by reason of the change oP said publ:
road across hie premises, which, had boon permitted and allowed Dy Yr. Iaeemean. And on
April 80th, 1914, I, J. Y. Rabb, noting under the direction of the Commissioners' Oonrt,•
went to eee Yr. J. R. Orr, about hie claim for damage e, and after talking the matter over
witb him, he agreed to accept $ 86.00 for the damages eastaiaed by reason of said change
which had been made eorose hie premises, daring the time Mr. Smil Leesmann, was in posses~-
ion of same, Upon his agreement to s accept the $ Sb.00 ae damages,I paid him said amount
and received his receipt Por said amount, which is in words and figures, as iollowe:
