1916, there was begun and holden a Speaiel Term of the Commissioners' Court, in and for
Kerr County, Texas, at the Court House thereof in the town of Kerrville, Texas.

The Court having been regularly opened the Yellowing proceedings were had, to-wit;-

It h;ving come to the knowledge of the Court that the old Kerr1~111e & Rookepring Road
has been aloaed by Jno. S. Callaway at the Vining Spring Crossing on~hq'Guadalupe River
and that the proposed New Road at said pleas to be oonetruateQ earl maintained by said Call-
away & T. J. Il:oore having not bean completed acoording to their said Contract and agreement
with this Court and that there Sea public necessity to maintain a good road for the travel
ing public at said plane- It is ordered by the Court that the said Callaway open said Old
road so closed by him at said point for the travel. oY the public until said new road be
completed ace ording to said Contract. It is ordered that oertlfied copies of this order be
served on said Callaway & S:oore one each, immediately for their guidance herein. And that
said old road not be closed again unt1~, said New road be eaoepted by this Court.

the County and not to exceed one dollar on the'~100.00 valuation in the District Per the
purpose of maintaining the public schools of the County or of the district.
