the appointment oY a County Health Officer, and it appearing to the Court that Dr.ErHast E.
Palmer, Ss a competent physician legally qualified to practice under the laws of this State
and oP a reputable professional standing.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that said Ernest E. Palmer, M.D. be and he
Ss hereby appointed County Health Officer, in and for Kerr County, Texas, for a period of
two years, or until his successor is appointed and tuly queliPlod, unless sooner removed
Yor cause. And said :lrnest E. Palmer, M.D. upon qualifying as required by law shall receSve
such compenantion for services actually rendered as this Court may allow from time to time.

nor out of it, nor have I sent or accepted a challengo to fight e duel mlth deadly weapons,
nor have I acted as a second, in carrying a challenge, or aided, advised or assisted any
person thus offending. And I furthermore solemnly swear ( or aP£Srm) that I have not, direc-
tly nor indirectly, paid, offered, or promised to pay, contributed nor promised to contribute
any money or valuable thing, or promised any public office or employment as a re•.:ard for the
