Be it remembered that on this the 21st, day of 'Sept., A. D, 1918, came on to be hear
and considered the apPlioatio^ of C. S. Burks, of kerr County, Texas, for a loan to purchae
seed for planting purpoeea and feedatuffe Yor the work stock of said applicant for the year
1918, and after due consideration thereoY, the court Ss of the opinion that said applicatio
should be gratited and that said applioant be extended a loan oY $78.60, in seed and feed-
atuPYa, to consist of the following: 10 bushels oY wheat; 50 bushels of oats.
And the clerk of this court be, and he is hereby directed to issue to said applicant
an order o^ this court for the number of bushels and pounds of the above described seed and
feedatuYfe, as above stated, conditioned that said applioant shall sign a contract in dupli
Cate, attested by esid clerk, to the affect that said applioant, for and in consideration o
the need and Yaed furnished him ea deaoribed in this order and of the value oY $78.b0, agre
in writing to pay to Ken County, Texas, the said sum of $78.50, on Aug. 1, 1919, together
with Yive per cent interest per annum from date of this contract until paid, together with
ten per cent attorney's Peea on said amount if salt should be brought on same for its
collection, sa is provided Yor in Section 5 of the Aot of the Thirty-fifth Legislature,
Fourt Called Session, 1918, known as the "Drought Relief Aot."
