1lhen the following proceedings were had:
In pursuance of Chapter 10, of !11 Act oY the Fourth Cslled Session of the
36th Legislature of the State oP Texas page 21, making it the duty of the Coam;iasionere'
Courts of the various counties in the State of iexsa to co-operate with the Live Stock
Commission oP the State oY Texaa in protecting live stock therein, from malignant and
infaotious diseases and to eradicate the fever-carrying tick, therein the Commissioners'
Courts are empowered and directed and it is made the duty of such Courts to appropriate
moneys out oP the general fund therein and to incur indebtedness by the issue of deferred
interest-bearing Warrants for the purposes aforesaid and to levy a tax to pay the interest
theraoY and to provide a sinking fund in payment thereof,
Therefore it is ordered that Warrants oY Kerr County, Texaa to be called "Kerr
County Tick Eradinntion Special Warrants" be issued in the cum of hive Thousand Dollars the
same to be expended in tick eradication in Kerr County, i'exas. Said YJarre.nts shall be
numbered 0na (1) to Eighteen (18) inolusive, shall be of the denomination oP Five iivndred
Dollars, eaoh aggregating the sum oP Sline Thousand Dollars; they shall be datod the let

Be it further ordered that a Special fund to be called the Tiak Eradication
B'und shall be set aside out of.~he General fund of Kerr County which shall be used for
the payment of interest on said warrants and principal thereof at maturity and for no
other purpose.
That to create said fund, to pay the interest on ea id warrants and to pro-
vide the•neceasary sinking Yund to pay the principal there oŁ at maturity a tax oŁ and
at~tha rate of four cents on each One Hundred Dollars valuation of all taxable prop-
erty in Kerr County, Teaaa out of the Constitutional limitation oŁ 25 Dante general
fund tax of said County shall be annually levied, assessed and collected and said

The State of Texae~ In the Commissioners' Court of Kendall
County of Kendall ~ County, Ta$ea. 9˘onday the 12th day oP
July 1920.
On this dcy came on to be considered the returns of an Election held Jvne the 5th,1920
in Comfort Common County line 9phool District No. 3 of Kendall and Kerr Counties, Texas, Łor
the purpose oŁ determining whether or not the County Commissioners Oourt of said Counties
a hall Lo authorized to levy, assess and collect annually a tax oP fifteen cents an increase
over the present fifteen cents making a total of thirty cents on the one hundred dollar
valuation of taxable property in said district Łor the purpose of anpplimenting the State
School Fund apportioned to said District, and it appearing to the Court that said election
was in all respects legally held and that said returns were duly and legally made and that
there wore gnat at said election 139 votes of which number there were oust:
For an increase 85 votes
Against " 54 "
yajority for tax 31 "
And it Łurthar appearing; to the Court from said returns that a majority of the qualified
property tax paying voters voting at said election, voted Yor the increase of taz the Court
does hereby declare the tax of and at a rate of 30 eta, on the one hundred dollar valuation
to have carried and that thisCourt is authorized to levy and have assessed and collected
said tax, and that a eertlfled copy of this order be made and forwarded to the County Com-
misaionera Court of %orr County, Texas, for observance.
