Texae; that es a oottsidaration named in the above mentioned deed and conveyance, the said Pd.

the principal sum of X1021.00 due in 10 years after data, executed by }7, q, Connaway and pay
able to the Treasurer of Serr County, Texas; that in said deed and also in said note, a ven-
dor'e lien wee expressly retained to secure the payment of said deferred payment;

moneys so paid 1n eatisfaotion of said note and interest duo thereon for school purposes;
