'The Commissioners Court of Karr Caunty being desirous oY promoting a more profitable
method of agriculture and oY assisting in the development of more comfortable and oonvenient

rural homes in the County, is of the opinion that a home demonstration agent should be em-
ployed to assist in said work, and inasmnoh as the U. S. Department of Agriculture, throu~
the Extension 3ervioe oY the A. and 51. College of Texas will oonduot Extension Work in this
County provided the Commissioners' Court of the County will oooparate finanoislly, the ~
Court is of the opinion that it should make an appropriation to supplement the funds of the
Bztenaion Service oY the _,. and M. College of Texas in oonducting nosh work in acoordance wit
the general laws of Texas.
It is, therefore, ordered by this Court that the sum of ("~p'1200.00) Twelve Hundred
be appropriated and the same is hereby appropriated out of the funds of Kerr County, to
assist in promoting a hatter method of agrioulture and the development of more oomfortable

and oorneniant rural homes in Kerr County. hh
This apprapriation shall beoome abailable on June 1, 1927, or ea soon thereafter as q
the %zteneion Servioe oY the n. and M. College of Texas shall plane an agent in said County 1 ,
for duty, and shall be paid out in monthly installments to said agent upon written order ~I
duly signed by an authorized representative of esid Eatanaion Service.
This anp ropriation shall be continuous until the Cmnmi anion er s' Oou rt or the Exten-
sion Servioe of the d. and M. College oY Texas shall decide to discontinue asune, and the
order of dieaonSinuanoe shall be passed only during the month of ~
