The Commieaionere Court of Kerr County being desirous of promoting s more profitable
method of agriculture and of assisting in the development of more comfortable and oonvenient
rural homes Sn the County, is of the opinion that a home demonstration agent should be em-
ployed to asalat in said work, and inasmnoh ae the II. S. Department of agriculture, through
the Extension service of the ~;. and id. College of Tessa will oonduot Extension Work in this
County provided the Commiasionera~ Court of the Cannty will oooperate finanoially, the
Court is of the opinion that it should make an appropriation to supplement the funds of the
Extension Service of the :,. and 2d. Coaage of Texas in oonduating nosh work in acoordanee wi
the general laws of Texas.
It ie, therefore, ordered by this Court that the sum aY (~p1200.00) twelve Hundred
be appropriated and the name is hereby appropriated out of the funds of Kerr County, t o
assist in promoting abetter method of sgrioulture and the development of more oomfortable
and oorneniant rural homes in Kerr County.
This apprapriation eh all become abailable on dune 1, 1927, or as soon thereafter as
the Extension Servioe of the a. and ii. College of Texas shall plane an agent in said County
for duty, and shall be paid out in monthly installmanta to said agent upon written order
duly signed by an authorized representative of said Extension Service.
This appropriation shall be continuous until the Cwnmi anion eras Court or the Exten-
eion Servioe of the n. and M. College of Texas shall decide to discontinue see, and the
order of diecontinuanoe shall be passed only during the month of Aptil or 1Lgy, whioh time
will be near the olose of the season and the year's work. Otherwise this order and agreement
shall remain in affaot from year to year. The Commiasionera~ Court or the Extension Service
