opened, the following proceedings were had, to-wit:

Kerr County.
Oa this 23rd day of June, 1927, came on to be oonsiderad the returns oY an eleation
held on the 18th day of Tuna, 1927, in Hunt Consolidated High School District No. 5 of
this County upon the question of "Whether or not the ffe. ir. tens na.a tax of 50 cents heretofore
suthorizee in said di at riot shall ba increased, so that the ma intox~anoa tax of said distrlot
shall hereafter be a tax of and at the rate of 7b cents" on the $].OO.OO,valuatlon of tambla
prop arty in said district for the purpose of supplementing the State School Fund apportioned
to said dist riot, and it appear iut; tLat said oleetion was in all respects legally held and
that said returns were duly and legally made and that there were oast at said eleation
41 votes, of which number there were cast:
"YOr inorea se oY School Tsa" 40 votes.
"Against increase of School Taz" one vote.
And it appearing to the court from slid returns that a majority of the qualified
taxpaying voters of said district, voting at es id eleation, voting in favor oY the increase
of said taz, the eowr6 does hereby declare the proposltioa for the inareaee of said taz
to have been adopted, and this court is authorized to levy and have assessed and colleotad
said tea.

Lokey for an emergency pauper allowance Yor Mrs, dddie Augheq and it appearing to the
Court that lgrs. Hughes is entitled to the relief prayed Yor, it is therefore ordered that
Mrs. Afldie Iiughea ba and is hereby allowed the sum oY w4.06 per month Yor months oY June
and Jules, 1927 as pauper allowance, which is to be paid to her each month by voucher issued
against the Ad 9alorem fund.
