X1716, CONTINUANCE OF HOME DEMONSTkATION WORK.
On this 14th day of Hay, 1928, appeared in open Court, Hise Atlee Smith, District
Home Demonstration Agent, Misa Clariee Copeland, Home Demonstration Agent of Kerr County,
and a delegation of Council secretaries of the County Ladies Clubs. The oral report by
Hiss Copeland of work aecompliahed and to be done in the future was hearfl and unanimously
approved, whereupon Misa Copeland tendered her resignation ae Home Demonstration Agent of
Kerr County on account of her aontsmplated marriage, said resignation was sooepted by the
Court with regrets. Resignation effective dune 1, 19E8.
Then came on to be heard the talks of Miss Smith and lady nitlzens for and on behalf
of the aontlnuanoe of the home demonstration work Sn Kerr County for another year, and upon
motion of Commissioner Ydana, aeoonded by Commissioner Kargar, and duly adopted, it le
ordered by the Court that said work be and ie hereby continued for another year in Kerr
County, and that there be and Ss hereby approprlatad out of the pd Valorem fnnd.the sum
of X1200.00 to Lake Dare of the County Agent's salary, ell in accordance with original
order for said work passed by this Court at its May Term, 1927, recorded on page 300 of
this Minute Book.

the Court House square is Kerrville, Terms, Yor s unit pride of thirty-eight cents per
square yard, work to be dons under the same speoifiaetiona now in use in the paving of
the City streets in Kerrville, under supervision of County Yngineer, and St appearing to the
Court that said bid is fair and duet, it is therefore ordered Dy the Court that same bs
and Se hereby sooepted Dy the Court and said contractors are hereby directed to submit
