On this 14th day of ytay, 1928, appeared in open Court, Misa Atlee Smith, District
Home Demonstration Agent, Misa Clarice Copeland, Home Demonstration Agent of Kerr County,
and a delegation of Council seoretariee of the County Ladies Clubs. The oral report by
Misa Copeland of work acaompliahed and to be done in the future was heard and unanimously
approved, whereupon Misa Copeland tendered her resignation as Home Demonstration Agent of
Kerr County on account of her aontamplated marriage, said raslgaation was aooepted by the
Court with regrets. Resignation effeotive dune 1, 1928.
Then Dame on to be heard the talks of Mies Smith and iady nitizens for and on behalf
of the oontinuanae of the home demonstration work Sn Kerr County for another year, and upon
motion of Commissioner Edens, eeaondad by Commissioner Karger, and duly adopted, it is
ordered by the Court that said work be and ie hereby oontinuod for another year in Kerr
County, and that there be and is hereby appropriated out of the pd paloram fuad.the sum
of X1200.00 to take oars of the County Agent's salary, all in aooordanoe with original
order for said work passed by this Court et its May Term, 192T, reaordad on page 300 of
this Minute Book.

On this 14th day of May, 1928, Dame on to be examined the fiml estimate of Col-
glazier ~ Hoff, Inc. for sum of $3620.06 covering the oonatruotion of the gravel drives
in the Court House yard, and it appearing that said estimate ie duly oertifled ae aorreat
by S. K. Mason, County Engineer, said estimate ie hereby approved and the Clerk is hereby
direoted to pay cams by voucher issued agalnat the available Court House and Jail Fund.

to be opened the sealed bid of Colglazier & Hoff, Ina., being the only bid filed, proposing
to oonatruat a limestone rook asphalt pavement 1/2 inoh in thiokneae on the drives of
the Court House square in Kerrville, Tessa, for a unit price of thirty-eight Dente per
square yard, work to be dons under the same epaaifiaettona now in use in the paving of
the City streets in Kerrville, under supervision of County Ynginaer, and it appearing to the
Court that acid bid is fair and ,uat, St Sa therefore ordered by tho Court that cams be
