On this 14th day of Hay, 1928, appeared in open Court, Misa Atlee Smith, District
Home Demonstration Agent, Misa Clarice Copeland, Home Demonstration Agent of Kerr County,
and a delegation of Council seoretariea of the County Ladies Clubs. The oral report by
Mies Copeland of work accomplished and to be done in the future was heard and unanimously
approved, whereupon Misa Copeland tendered her resignation as Home Demonstration Agent of
Kerr County on account of her contemplated marriage, said resignation was accepted by the
Court with regrets. Resignation effective June 1, 1928.
Then aamo on to be heard the talks of M1ea Smith sad lady oitizena Yor and on behalf
of the oontinuanae of the home demonstration work in Kerr County for another year, and upon
motion of Commissioner Edens, seconded by Commissioner Karger, and duly adopted, it la
ordered by the Court that said work be and is hereby continued for another year in Karr
County, and that there be and ie hereby appropriated out of the Ad Valorem fund.the sum
of 51200.00 Lo take Data of the County Agant'a salary, all in aaoordanoe with original
order for said work passed by this Court at its May Term, 192?, recorded on page 300 of
this Minute Book.
