COUNTY OF HERH.: In order to avoid a wrong intorpratstion relative to an item of the
Commie alonere Court minutes published Sa our two loom newspapers, stating that the County
Auditor+a report eridsnaed an over-payment of Yr, A. B, iilliameon*s salary, ws wish to make
the following explanation,
During the months o! Deosmbar, 1932, at the time Mr, Williamson made hie final
report to the Court, there a peered some ooatrpversy as to the amunt due Yr, iilliameon
and after some dlsouseion, it was desitet Dy the Comsiseioaers+ Count that-the came should
be sooepted; after the oonvsning of the present Court is January, 1933, the matter was again
presented to the Court, and was also aoeeptsd Dp thee,
Soma time in thasarly part of August oY this year the Dour! em loyed an auditor
~ to and.it the County*s books; the auditor+e report shows that the sum of ~I08,33 had been
over-paid to Mr, iilliamson. This was as s result of a misinterpretation of the various
miautea of the Court relative to Mr, iilliamson+e salary during the year, 1432; neither Mr,
i iilliameon nor the oonrt were at !salt as to this dlsorepaotay.
Mr. Williasson, attar being notitle4 of said over-paymont, stated to tho Court that
when he vas oonvinoed that the auditor+s report was oorraot that he would gladly retnad the
amount olaimed to have Deen over-paid and the Court moat graeiously WlA him to tame all the
time neoeesary to do eo, ie wii to oomplims~ Yr, Hilliamson oa his twenty-tour years oY
