Consideration of the Peot that Kerr County hen made end entered into a contreat with W.W. Vsaa
4 Company of Kerrville, Texas, for the construction of approximately 2-3/4 miles of road con-
necting State Righway No. 16 end the Benders Hoed beyond the State Perk, and the re-coadition-
ing end improvement of that portion of old Highway No. 81 lying between Highway No. 16 and the
Guadalupe River, et a coat of $44,019.58, the payment of which Sa to be made by the issuance
of $44,000-.00 of Rerr County Rotd do Bridge Improaemeat Warrants, bearing iatereat at the rate
of 54 per annum from Mey 10, 1937, interest pays ble anauallq, said warrants being numbered
from 1 to 44 inclusive end being due and payable on a basis of X4,000.00 per year beginning
May 10th, 1942;- we, the Trustaea of the said Charles Schreiner Road Fund do hereby obligate
and bind ourselves as Trustees and our success ore Sn Trust, to esauma the payment of ell of
the interest to become due and payable on said $44,000.00 of road sad bridge warrants, on and
after May 10th, 1942, and do further bind and obligate ourselves ae suoh Trustaea and our
successors in Trust, to esaume the payment of seventy-five (75) per cant of the principal sum
of said road end bridge warrants to become due and payable on and after Mey 10th, 1942.
This agreement being entered into with the express and axpliait understanding that
Kerr County Sa to pay all interest to become due and payable on said Roed and bridge warrants
up ~to and including May 10th, 1941, end twenty-five (25) per cent of the princ ipel sum of sa ii
road and bridge warrenta as they become due and payable on end after May 10th, 1942. Kerr
County shall have the privilege and right to take up and pay off Sts 2596 of said principal or
any part thereof in multiples of $1,000.00 each, at any maturity date of said warrants.
This Contract and agreement to become effective only upon 1ta approval and acceptane~
by Kerr County, and then to~be recorded in the minutes of the Commissioners' Court of said
County.
