This Bth day of January, 1940, came on to be oonaidered by the Court the provisions of
Senate Bill No. 5, Chapter 465, passed at First Called Session of the 44th Legislature,
preaoribing oompeneation of Diatriot, County and Preoinot Offioera, and it appearing to the
Court that it is to the De at interest of Rerr County and its offloera that all of the Diatriot
County and Precinot Officers of Rerr County be oompensatad on tho tee basis for the year 1940.
It is therefore ordered, adjudged and deoreed by the Court that all District, County sad
Preoinot Offloarb of Rerr County be oompeneated for their sarvioea during the year 1940, on
a earned fee basis, and until otherwise determined by this Court.
Aad the County Clerk shall forward a oertified oopy of this order to the Comptroller of
Publio Aooounte, Austin, Tezea, na direated in the harem mentioned eat of the Legislature.

The Ranson-Davidson Company of San Antonio, Tezea, to sell unto Rerr County for the use end
benefit of its Permanent School Fund, four X100.00 Cameron County Wide Road Bonds, Zi~mg germ
bonds, bearing 3,~ semi-annual graduated interest, for a stipulated prise of =350.00, and it
appearing to the Court Lhet it is to the beat interest of Rerr County end said 9ohool Fund
that auoh bonds be puroheaed.
Therefore, upon motion duly made, seoonded and unanimoualq adopted, said offer of The
Ranson-Davidson Company be end is hereby aoaepted by the Court, and that aeid bonds be pur-
ohased and paid for eooordingly, at the stipulated prise of X350.00, and the Charles Sohreine
Bank, Depository of Rerr County be and is hereby authorized and direated to pay for same out
of the Permanent School Fund of Rerr County so far as the available money thereof will permit
