Besets Rill No. 5, Chnpter 465, passed nt First Called Seeaioa of the 44th Legislature,
preeoribing compensation of District, County and Preolnot Officers, and it appearing to the
Court that St Se to the beet interest of %err County and its officers that all of the Dietrio
County and Precinct Officers of %err County be aompeasated oa Lhe fee basis for the year 1940
It ie therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that nll District, County and
Preolaot Otfioerb of Kerr County be aompeaeated for their services during the year 1940, on
a earned fee basis, and until otherwise determined by this Court.
And the County Clerk shall forward a certified copy of this order to the Comptroller of
Public Accounts, Auatia, Tezea, as direoted in the herein mehtioned sot of the Legislature.

This 8th day of January, A. D. 1940, came on to De considered by the Court the olfar of
Tha Ranson-Davidson Company of San Antonio, Tezaa, to sell unto Kerr County for the use and
benefit of its Permanent School Fund, four X100.00 Cameron County Wide Road Boade, Zbig 5erm
bonds, bearing 3~ semi-anausl graduated interest, for a stipulated prise of X350.00, and it
appearing to the Court that it is to the beat interest of Kerr County end said 9ohool Fund
that such bonds be purohaeed.
Therefore, upon motion duly made, saoonded and unanimously adopted, ea id offer of The
Ranson-Davidson Company be and is hereby socepted by the Court, end thnt said bonds be pur-
ohaeed and paid for accordingly, at the stipulated prise of X350.00, end the Charles Sohreine
Bank, Depository of Kerr County be and is hereby authorized and direoted to pay for same out
of the Permanent School Fund of Karr County ao far as the available monoy thereof will permit
