This 8th day of January, 1940, came on to be oonaiderad by the Court the provisions of
Senate B111 No. 5, Chnpter 465, passed nt First Called Sesalon of the 44th Legislature,
prescribing compensation of Diatriot, County and Precinct Officers, and it appearing to the
Court that it Se to the Daet intareat of %err County and its officers that all of the District
County nad Precinct Officers of %err County be compensated on the fee basis for the year 1940.
It ie therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed by the Court that nil Diatriot, County and
Precinct Officers of %err County be compensated for their services during the year 1940, on
a earne8 fee basis, and until otherwise determined by this Court.
Aa8 the County Clerk shall forward a oertifiad copy of this order to the Comptroller of
Public Aaoounte, Auatln, Tezea, as directed in the herein mentioned sot of the Legislature.

Thle 6th day of January, A. D. 1940, came on to be oonaiderad by the Court the off4r of
The Rsaeon-Davldaoa Company of San Antonio, Tezas, to sell unto %err County for the use and
benefit of its Permanent School Fund, four X100.00 Cameron County Wide Road Bonds, Ibag germ
bonds, bearing 396 semi-annual graduated interest, for a atlpulated prise of X350.00, and it
appearing to the Court that it is to the beat interest of %err County end said 9ohool Fund
that such bonds be purchased.
Therefore, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, avid offer of The
Reason-Davidson Company be end Sa hereby accepted by the Court, and that aeid bonds be pur-
ohased and paid for accordingly, at the atlpulated pries of X350.00, and the Charles Sahreines
Bank, Depository of %err County De and is hereby authorized and direote8 Lo pay for same out
of the Permanent School Fund of %rr County so far as the available money thereof will permit,

when said above-described bonds are delivered to said Depository.

the said month of December, 1939, and It nppeariilg to the Court that ea id County Clerk is
