( Pursuant to the provisions of Section 40, Article 666 oP the Penal D'o of the State of Tessa there Sa hereby ordered an election to be held 1n Justice Precinct No. 4, of this County on the 30th day of March, 1940, for the purpose of voting on the question of "For Prohibiting the Sale of Beer oontaining Alcohol not eaeeeding Four (4'f) Per Centum by Weight" and "Against Prohibiting the Sale oP Bear Containing Alcohol not exceeding Four (496) Per Centum by Weight", Said election shall be held on said date at the regular voting places within the above designated area, and the offioera of eleotion heretofore appointed by this Court on the 13th day oP February, 1940, and qualified under the laws of this State to hold elections at the respective voting plaoes in said 8err County, Tezas, be and they are hereby directed to hold this election. It is further ordered that the Clerk of this Court shall poet or cause to be posted at least one (1) notice of this order in each voting precinct within the limits of said designated area Yor at lea at aia (6) days prior to the aforesaid 30th day of Pdarch, 1940. The vote of said election shall ba by official ballot which shall have printed or written at the top thereof in plain letters the words "Official Ballot" and said ballots shall also have written or printed thereon the word a: "FOR PROHIBITING SALE OF AEER CONTAINING ALCOHOL ATOT EXCEEDING FOUR (49s) PER CENTUM BY WEIGHT" "AGAINST PROHIBITING SALE OF BEER CONTAINING ALCOHOL NOT EXCEEDING FOUR (4~) PER CENTUM BY WEI(~iT" Those voters favoring the proposition on the ballot will eraso the "Against" proposal by drawing a pencil line through it. Those voters that oppose the proposal shall erase the "For" proposition by drawing a penoil line through it. The Clerk of this Court shell furnish the presiding officer of each voting box within the above designated area, a number of official ballots not less than twloe the number of qualified voters at such voting boaea. After the polls are closed the officers of the eleation shall prooeed to count the votes and within three days thereafter shell make return of the results of said election to the Commissioners Court of this County. This 11th day of March, 1940, it appearing to the Court that it will be to the best interest to the ranchmen, farmers end business people of Kerr County that the foxes be ezterminated in Kerr County on account of the depredations by aueh foaes on the young lambs and kids and on poultry and especially on wild turkeys and other game birds. Zt is therefore ordered and decreBd by the Court that Kerr County shall pay out of the General Fund a bounty oY One Dollar ($1.00) on each and every foe killed within the County between the 15th day of March, 1940, to and including the 31st day of May, 1940, aueh bounty to be paid to the person killing suoh foe or foaes upon hie affidavit showing on whose ranch in Kerr County and on what date or dates, same were Killed, supplemented with a statement signed by the owner, tenant or manager of ranch where same were killed, verifying the fact 91 dates therein specified. It is ordered by the Commissioners' Court of Rerr County, Tease, on this 11th day of March, 1940, that the sum of $5.00 deposited by Maurice J. Lehmann with the District Clerk of Kerr County, Tezss, o^ September 18, 1939, in Cause No. 2028, et9led Peril vs. Nyc et al., and the sum of $5.00 deposited by Maurice J. Lehmann with the Diatriot Clerk of Rerr County, Texas, on September 18, 1939, in Cause No. 2096, styled Schladoer vs. Mertz, end which casee were settled without a trial, be refunded to him and the Clerk is hereby directed to issue a warrant on the Jury Fund of Kerr County, Texas, for the sum of x10.00 in favor of Maurice J.
