D. 1940, there was begun and holden a Regular Term oP the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, at the Court House thereof, in the town oP Kerrville, Taxes, officers present: , John 3. Atkins, County Judge Henry Eckstein, Commissioner, Precinct No. 1, D. D. Beard, .. Cammiss iener, Preoinet No. 2, Wm. Karger, Commissioner, Precinct No. 3, T. J. Moore, .. Commissioner, Precinct No. 4, A. F. Moore, SherSPf and Tno. R. Leavell, County Clerk, and the Court having been regularly oponed, the follow ing prone ed lags were had, to-wit: N0. 2213. ALLOWANCE OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS. This 13th day of May, A, D, 1940, came on to be examined and audited by the Court, the various claims end accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective Commissioners' Pre- cincts since last term of the Court, all of which accounts and claims were approved by the Court for payment by the County Clerk in amounts and out of respective funds ea shown, by the minutes oY accounts allowed for %err County, Texas, which are made a part of this order. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 2214. APPLICATION OF LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY TO BE EXEMPT FROM TAKES. On Lhis the 13th day of May, 1940, came on to be heard the application of the Lower Colorado River Authority to pass certain resolutions whero by the properties of said Authority would be exempt from taxation, and in lieu of said taxation said Authority would make dona- tions which would equal the amount oP taxes paid yearly by said Authority. Said pr opertiea having been acquired from the Texas Power end Light Company. That said Authority olaims to be an age noy of the State s7milar to a County or other public agency. And the Commissioners' Court having had a point meeting with the Hon. Yf. A. Fawcett, Mayor of the City of Kerrville and H. A. Moore, Superintendent of the Kerrville Independent School District, a motion wee made, seconded and unanimously adopted that the County of %err co-operate with the City of Kerrville and Kerrville Indapende nt School Distriat to endeavor to keep said properties oY saS Authority on the tea rolls and collect taxes. It is therefore ordered by the Court that in obedienoe to said motion the County of Kerr with the City of Kerrville and Sarrville~3adependent Sohool District will co-operate/to the Fullest extent to keep the propert Sea of said Authority on the Ted rolls and to collect taxes for same, and that said donations offered to be made by said Authority would not be equal to the taxes to be collected annuallq Prom said Authority. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 2215. APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORT. Tnis 13th day of May, A. D. .1940, came onto be examined by the Caurt the monthly expense report of Jno. R.
