ALLOWANCE OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS. This 13th day of Mey, A. D. 1940, came on to be examined and audited by the Court, the various claims and accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective Commissioners' Pre- cincts since lest term of the Court, ell of which accounts and ale ims were approved by the Court for payment by the County Clerk Sn amounts and out of respective funds as shown, by the minutes of accounts sl lowed for Kerr County, Texea, which are made a pert of this order. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 2214. APPLICATION OF LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY TO BE EXEMPT FROM TAXES. On this the 13th day of May, 1940, came on to be heard the application of the Lower Colorado River Authority to peas certain resolutions whereby the properties of said Authority would be exempt from taxation, and in lieu of said teastion said Authority would make dona- tions wh lch would equal the amount of taxes paid yearly by said Authority. Said properties having been acquired from the Teaea Power and Light Company. That said Authority claims to be an agency of the State similar to a County or other public agency. And the Commiaeionera' Court having had a point meeting with the Hon. W. A. Fawcett, Mayor of the City of Kerrville and H. A. Moore, Superintendent of the Kerrville Independent School District, a motion wee made, seconded and unanimously adopted that the County of %err co-operate with the City oP Kerrville and Kerrville Independent School Dletrict to endeavor to keep said properties of sat Authority on the Lea rolls and collect taxes. It is therefore ordered by the Court that in obed ienoe to said motion the County of %err with the City of Kerrville and Eerrville;independent School District will co-operate/to the fullest extent to keep the props rhea of said Authority on the Tai rolls and to oollect taxes for same, and that said donations offered to be made by said Authority would not be equal to the taxes to be collected annually from said Authority. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 2215. APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S MONTHLY EXPENSE REPORT. This 13th day of Mny, A. D. .1940, came oaLto be examined by the Court the monthly expense report of Jno. R.
