This 14th day of May, A. D. 1940, came on to be considered by the Court the applioat ion
of E. H, Nichols, Assessor and Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, for an Advance by Kerr
County of $500.00 on his 1940 County Tax Assessor's Commissions, and it appearing to the Court
that he 1s entitled to such advance, his application be and Is hereby granted, and the County
Clerk is hereby authorized end directed to pay such advance unto Assessor Nichols as follows:
$300.00 out of the Kerr County Wide Road Bonds of 1931 Sinking Fund and X200.00 out of the
Court House end Jail Sink Sng Fund.

indebtedness, expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for quart Or ending April 30th, 1940,
submitted and filed by Jno. R. Le eve ll, County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that said
statement is true and correct in every respect, same be and is hereby approved by the Court.

County of Kerr. ~ Regular May Term, A. D. 1940.
This 14th day of llay, p, D. 1940, came on to be cone idered by the Court the nursing ser-
vice requirements imposed on Kerr County by the State Budget for period from dulq 1st, 1940
to December 31st, 1940, and it appearing to the Court that the aeaumption by the County of
X890.00 of seld nursing service eapense sa provided thereunder is in all respects reasonable
and satisfactory to the Court.
Said Budget is therefore accepted and adopted by the Court, and the County Clerk be end
is hereby authorized and directed to peq the $240.00 semi-annual cash salary unto the County
Publ is Health Nurse of Kerr County in aia monthly installments of X40.00 each out of the
General Fund, same to be paid unto her at sad of each month's service beginning Aug, 1st, 1940
All bills covering any part of said nurse's X300.00 semi-annual travel allowance or her
8150.00 semi-annual contingent allowance shall be approved by this Court from term to term and
then paid by the County Clerk out of the General Fund.
It being understood by the Court that said County Public Health nursing service is herein
continued for another aiz months as herein provided, upon the eapress oond it ion end agreement
with the Trustees of the Kerrville Independent School District, that Kerr County gdvance and
pay for said service from month to month but that the whole expense incurred shall be shared
end paid for in equal proportions by the County and said Kerrville Independent School District
and said school district agrees to reimburse the County for its half of said ezpease by pay-
ment thereof to the County Treasurer on demand.
