This 14th day of May, A. D. 1940, came on to be considered by the Court the application
oP E. H, Nichols, Assessor and Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, for an Advance by Kerr
County of $500.00 on his 1940 County Taa Assessor's Commissions, and it appearing to the Court
that he Ss entitled to such advance, his application be and is hereby granted, and the County
Clerk is hereby authorized end directed to pay such advance unto Assessor Nichols as follows:
$300.00 out of the Kerr County Wide Road Bonds of 1931 Sinking Fund end $200.00 out of the
Court House and Sail Sinking Fund.

County of Kerr. ~ Regular May Term, A. D. 1940.
Thin 14th day of May, A. D. 1940, came on to be Iona idered by the Court the nursing ser-
vice requirements imposed on Kerr County by the State Budget for period Prom duly 1st, 1940
to December 31st, 1940, end it appearing to the Court that the aesumpt ion by the County of
$890.00 of said nursing service expense as provided thereunder is in all respects reasonable
and satisfactory to the Court.
Said Budget is therefore acoepted and adopted by the Court, and the County Clerk be and
ie hereby authorized and diraoted to pay the $240.00 semi-annual cash salary unto the County
Public Health Nurse of Kerr County in eia monthly inatallmente of $40,00 each out of the
General Fund, same to be paid unto her at end of each month's service beginning Aug, 1st, 194
All bills covering any pert of said nurse's $300.00 semi-annual travel allowance or her
$150,00 eeml-annual contingent allowance shall be approved by this Court from term to term an
then pald by the County Clerk out of the General Fund.
It being understood by the Court that said County Publ io Health nursing service is herei
oontlnued for another eia months es herein provided, upon the eapreas oond ition and agreement
wlth the Trustees of the Kerrville Independent Sohool District, that Kerr County gidvence end
pay for said service from month to month but that the whole expense ina urred shall be shared
end paid for in equal proportions by the County and said Kerrville Independent School Distric
and said school district agrees to reimburse the County for Its half of said expense by pay-
ment thereof to the County Treasurer on demand.
