is the beat bid and lowest bid of fared, same be and is hereby aooelised by the Court, and the
County Clerk is hereby authorized to issue and deliver unto Wm. K. Holt Machinery Company a
warrant on the County Treasurer drawn against the R. Ec B. No. 2 Fund for the sum of $3885.00
payable on delivarp of the Machine, which said Maohina is One "Caterpillar" No. 112 Gasoline
Tandem Drive:Motor Grader, with 12 it blade, 7.00-24 Rib Tread pneumatic tires front and 11.25
24 Grou˘d Grip low pressure pneumatic tires, puncture-proof tubes rear; muffler; hack; leaning

COUNTY OF KERB. I June Term, A. D. 1940.
This 10th day of June, 1940, came on to be received and considered by the Court the bid
submitted for the hard-surfacing of 1.4 mi~.es in Commissioners` Precinct No. 2, and 3} miles
in Commissioners' Precinct No. 3, in Kerr County, Texas, ae follows, to-wit:

Where County furnishes cover stone, the price for hauling,•spreading and rolling same wll:
be X1.00 per cubic yard. W. W. Vann 8c Co., to furnish Prime 011 MC-1 according to item 300,
Texas Highway Spec ifioations, Asphalt OA-135, and Cover Stone item 304-A, Teaas Highway speoi-
fioationa, do all booming, spreading, rolling, ate., at the prices above quoted.
And it appearing to the Court that V1. W. Vann & Company is the only bid received and that
said bid be accepted.
Therefore uFon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, said bid of W. W. Vann
& Company be and is hereby accepted by the Court, and the contract for the construction of sai
hard-surfacing road 1.4 miles in Precinct No. 2, being from the present paving at the Cemetery
to the fir at crossing of Verde Creak Road and two separate streets in the Town of Center Point
Teaas, said three fobs comprising the 1.4 miles above referred to, and 3} miles in Precinct No
3, being about 1} miles from the Kendall County line West to the intersection of the Center
Point Road and 2 miles on the Cherry Creek Road, 1s hereby awarded to said W. W. Vann & Compan ,
and said hard-surfacing shall be as above stated according to specifications.
Payment of entire contract price of approximately X1800.00 for Precinct No. 2 and approai~
mately X2500.00 for Preoinet No. 3, shall be made to the contractor liy proper warrant issued
by the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, drawn on the County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas
out of the reapoative Road & Bridge Funds, Nos. 2 and 3, after completion oY said entire 3oba
and its acceptance by the Court. Work thereon shall start sometime the fir et part of July and
same shall be prosecuted with diligence to its earliest completion.
