This 9th day of September, A. D. 1940, came on to be considered by the Court the nursing
eervioe requiTemente imposed on Kerr County by the State Hudget for period from January let,
1941 to December 31st, 1941, and it appearing to the Court that the aeaumption Dy the County
of X1,380.00 of saki aura ing aervloe eapenae ea provided thereunder Ss in sll reapeats reason
able and eat iafactory to the Court.
Said budget is therefore accepted and adopted by the Court, end the County Clerk be and
Ss hereby authorized and directed to pay the x480.00 annual cash salary unto the County Publi
Health Nurse Por %rr County in twelve monthly installments of $40.00 each out of the General
Fund, same to be paid unto her nt end of each month's eervioe beginning January 1st, 1941.
All bills covering any part of said nurse's X600.00 annual travel allowance or her $300.00
annual contingent allowance shall be approved by th ie Court from term to term and Lhen paid
by Lhe County Clerk out of the General Fund.
It being uaderatood by the Court that said County Public $ealth Nursing service ie
herein continued for another year ae herein provided, upon the express condition and agree-
ment with the Truataea of the %errv ills Independent School Diatriot, that %e rr County advance
and pay for a@Sd eervioe Prom month to month but that the whole expense incurred shall be
shared and paid for in equal proportions by the County and said Kerrville Independent Sohool
Dietriat, end said Sohool diatriat agrees to re imburae the County for its half of said expeas
by payment thereof to the County Tre eaurer on demand.

Continuation of the employment of Mra. Pearl Granea, ae County Ceae Worker on half time basis
ae renommended by the County of Kerr, and it appearing to the Covrt that it is to the beet
Snterest of the tax-peyere sad the County is General that the eery ioea~of said asae worker be
continued for aia months, from the 17th day of September, 1940, provided the City of Karrvill
will contribute ae much sa 225.00 towards the ezpenae and operation of Lhe relief office.
Accordingly, it ie hereby ordered by the Court that the relief office of Kerr County,
with Mra. Pearl Granea, ae County Ceae Worker be operated for nix months, from the 17th day
of September, 1940, at the expense of Kerr County on the same basis ea same is now operated,
with the ezaept ion that if the City of Kerrville does not partia Spate in the expenditures of
the operation of said Relief Office in the cum of #225.00 ae above stated this order to be
null and void.
