This 26th day of September, A. D. 1940, came on to be examined by the Court the State and
County Tax Rolls for the year, 1940, prepared by E~mnet H. Nichols, Assessor and Collector of
Taxes for Kerr County, Texas, end same hev ing been found oorrect and in proper form, same were
certified and approved by the Court ae shown by the Court's Certificate of Approval attached

No. 2290. TRANSFER OF 7.32 FROM GENERAL FUND TO KERR COUNTY WIDE ROAD BONDS OF 1931 SINKING
FUND.
This 26th day of September, 1940, the County Treasurer of Kerr County be and is hereby
authorized and directed to transfer the sum of "=7.32 from the General Fund to the Kerr County
Wide Road Bonds of 1931 Sinking~Fund to re-imburae said 5lnking Fund for over-payment of
Assessor's Commission out of said Slnking Fund.

This 26th day of September, p. D. 1940, came on to be considered by the Court the appli-
cation of E. H. Nichols, Assessor and Colleotor of Taxes Por Kerr County, for the full and
final settlement by Kerr County of $501.87 for hle 1940 County Taz Assessor's Commissions,
and it appearing to the Court that he is entitled to such settlement, his application be and
is hereby granted, and the County Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to pay such final
sett lament unto Assessor Nichols as Poll owe: X73.60 out oP the Jury Fund, $16.98 out of the
General Fund, $122.91 out of the Road and Bridge Fund and 288.38 out of Road District No.
1 Sinking Fund.

NO. 2293. GRANTING APPLICATION TO CITY OF KERRVILLE TO LAY WATER AND GAS LINE TO SCOTT SCHREZ
On this the 26th day of September, A. D. 1940, came on to be heard and considered the
application of the City of Kerrville, for the right to lay Water and Gas Lines Prom the City
Limits to the Scott Schreiner Homestead located on the Harper Road or Highway, said Water and
Gae Line to be layed on the North East side of the Harper Road, in the ditch, with the express
underatanding thgt the City of Kerrville agre as to be responsible for any and all damages to
the Road or Ditch involved to ley its water and gas lines. The City of Kerrville Pur they
,agrees to be responsible for any and all damages that may aoarue to any private person or

persons by reason of the laying of said lines and absolves Kerr County of any and ell damages
that may ever arise by reason of the laying of said lines. The City of Kerrville further
agrees to lay all water and gas lines in said Ditch at a depth sufficient not to interfere
with the proper grading and maintaining oP said Harper Road.

the various claims and accounts filed against Kerr County and its respective Commissioners'
Precincts since last term of the Court, all of which accounts and claims were approved by the
Court Por payment by the County Clerk in amounts and out of respective funds as shown by the
minutes of accounts allowed for Kerr County, Texas, which are made a part oP this order.

N0. 2293. APPLICATION OF HERM. SCHULZE FOR SUIT-CLAIM DEED TO PART OF OLD RURAL ROUTE ROAD.
This 14th day of October, A. D. 1940, came on to be considered the application oP Herm.
Schulze for the execution and delivery to him by Kerr County of a qult-claim deed covering
a strip oP land described as follows, to-wit: All that certain tract or parcel of land lying
and being situated in the County of Kerr, State of Texas, on the waters of the Guadalupe River
out of original Survey No. 70, Sn the name of W. T. Crook, and being the S. W. end of that
strip of land conveyed to the County oP Kerr, by deed oP record in Vol. 34, Page 533, Deed
Reoards oP Kerr County, Texas, described by metes and bounds as follows, torwlt :. Beginning
at the South or ~. E. corner of said Sur. No. 70 on the river bank. Thenoe N. 45 E. 93 varas
with 5. E. line of said Sur. No. 70, to a large L. 0. tree marked _ at 141 varas Por corner.
Thence N. 45 W. 15 Peet for corner in N. W. line of said strip. Thence S. 45 W. 141 varas to
the bank of said river. Thence S. 45 E. down said river 15 feet to the place of beginning,
containing about 1/10 of an acre of land, more or less. And it appearing to the Court that
said ab eve described parcel of lend is of no use to Kerr County and that same should be quit-
claimed to said Herman Schulze.
