Schuj.ze for the execution and delivery to him by Kerr County of a quit-claim deed covering
a strip of land described as follows, to-wit: All that certain traot or parcel of lend lying
and being situated in the County oY Kerr, State of Texas, on the waters of the Guadalupe River
out of original Survey No. 70, in the name of W. T. Crook, and being the S. W. end of that
strip of land conveyed to the County of Kerr, by deed of record in Vol. 34, Page 533, Deed
Records of Kerr County, Texas, described by metes and bounds as follows, to Twit :. Beginning
at the South or S. E. oorner of said Sur. No. 70 on the river bank. Thence N. 45 E. 93 varas
with S. E. line of said Sur. No. 70, to a large L. 0. tree marked _ at 141 varas for corner.
Thence N. 45 W. 15 feet i'or corner in N. W. line of said strip. Thence S. 45 W. 141 varas to
the bank of said river. Thence S. 45 E. down said river 15 Peet to the place of beginning,
containing about 1/10 of an acre of land, more or less. And it appearing to the Court that
said above describ ad parcel oP land is of no use to Kerr County and that same should be quit-
claimed to said Herman Schulze.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that County Judge, Sohn S. Atkins execute end deliver

N0. 2296, APPLICATION OF R. R. TIPPIT TO EMPLOY RODSMAN.
On this the 14th day of October, p. D. L940, came on Lo be heard the applioation of R. R.
Tipp it to employ a Rodaman at a salary of X1.50 per day, ea id sum to be paid by the respective
land oanene by whom he is employed for the purposes of ter rac ing, and the laid owners also to
furnish a marker, end it appearing to the Court that it is neoessary to employ sald Rodeman.
It is therefore ordered end deoreed by the Court that the said R. R. Tipp It employ said
Rodsman at e salary of $1.50 per day and that the land owners are to pay said Rodsman for
the purposes of terracing and said land owners are also to Furnish a marker at their own exoen

of Ranson, Davidson 8c Company oP San Antonio, represented by Mrs. Helen Stanley, offering to
trade unto the Kerr County Permanent School Fund 6 X1000.00 Bond"a of the Houston County Texas
Consolidated Road Diatr ict No. 2, 4°b bonds, flue in 1964 and 1985 for 51000.00 Kerr County
Court House end Jail Bonds, 5~ bonds, due 1 in 1984, 2 in 1985, and tl~ 1966, said bonds now
being owned by said School Fund, and adjustment oP interest at date of delivery.
It eppearing to the Court that suoli bond trade would be to the best interest of the Kerr
County Permanent School Fund, the consummation of said trade be and is hereby authorized by
the Court, upon the final acceptanoe or reject ion of said pr opo~s ed trade by said Ranson,
