N0. 2296, APPLICATION OF R. R. TIPPIT TO EMPLOY RODSMAN.
On this the 14th day of October, A. D. 1940, came on to be heard the applio ation of R. R.
Tippit to employ a Rodsman at a salary of X1.50 per day, said sum to be paid by the respective
land o'nene by whom he is employed for the purposes of terrac ing, and the lerrl owners also to
Yurnish a marker, and it appearing to the Court that St is neoessary to employ said Rodsman.
It is therefore ordered end deoreed by the Court that the se id R. R. Tipp It employ said
Rodsman at e salary of 1.50 per day and that the land owners are to pay said Rodsman for
the purposes of terracing and said land owners are also to furnish a marker at their own expen e.

N0. 2298. PROPOSED BOND TRADE BETWEEN RANSON, DAVIDSON & CO., AND KERR CO. PERM. SCH. FUND.
Thie 14th day of October, A. D. 1940, came on to be co na idered by the Court the proposal
of Ranson, Davidson & Company of San Antonio, represented by Mrs. Helen Stanley, offering to
trade unto the Kerr Couaty Permanent School Fund 6 X1000.00 Bonds of the Houston County Texas
Consolidated Road District No. 2, 4% bonds, due in 1964 and 1985 for 5'1000.00 Kerr County
_ Court House and Ja11 Bonds, 5~ bonds, due 1 in 1964, 2 in 1965, and 81fi 1966, se id bonds now
being owned by said School Fund, and adjustment of interest at date of delivery.
It appearing to the Court that suoti bond trade would be to the best interest of the Kerr
County Permaaent School Fund, the consummation of said trade be and is hereby authorized by

the Court, upon the final acceptance or reject ion of said pr opo˘ed trade by said Ranson,
Davidson & Company.
