On this the 14th day of October, A. D. L940, came on to be heard the application of R. R.
Tippit to employ a Rodsman at a salary of $1.50 per day, said sum to be paid by the respective
land oaners by whom he is employed for the purposes of terracing, and the land owners also to
Purnish a marker, and it appearing to the Court that it is neoessary Lo employ said Rodsman.
It is therePOre ordered and decreed by the Court that the said R. R. Tippit employ said
Rodsman at a salary of 1.50 per day and that the land owners are to pay said Rodsman for
the purposes of terracing and said land owners are also to furnish a marker at their own expen

of the unapportioned Road and bridge Funds of Kerr County, be and are hereby apportioned and

Thie 14th day of October, A. D. 1940, came on to be considered by the Court the proposal
of Ranson, Davidson & Company of San Antonio, represented by Mrs. Helen Stanley, offering to
trade unto the Kerr County Permanent School Fund 6 X1000.00 Bond"a of the Houston County Taxes
Consolidated Road Dlstr Set No. 2, 4,~ bonds, due in 1964 and 1965 for 5 X1000.00 Kerr County
Court House end Jail Bonds, 5$ bonds, due 1 in 1984, 2 in 1965, and t Sa 1966, said bonds now
being owned by said School Fund, end adjustment of interest at date of delivery.
It appearing to the Court that suori bond trade would be to the best interest of the Kerr
County Permanent School Fund, the conaummat ion of said trade be and 1s hereby authorized by
the Court, upon the final acceptance or refection of said pr opo~ed trade by said Ranson,
Davidson & Company.
