On this the 14th day of October, A. D. 1940, came on to be heard the application of R. R,
Tippit to employ a Rodsman at a salary of $1.50 per day, sa Sd sum to be paid by the respective
land oanera by whom he is employed for the purposes of ter rac ing, and the land owners also to
furnish a marker, and it appearing to the Court that it is necessary to employ said Rodaman.
It is therefore ordered and decreed by the Court that the said R. R. Tippit employ said
Rodsman at a salary oP $1.50 per day and that the land owners are to pay said Rodsman for
the purposes of terracing and said land owners are also to furnish a marker at their own exper

of Ranson, Davidson & Company of San Antonio, represented by Mrs. Helen Stanley, offering to
trade unto the Kerr County Permanent School Fund 6 $1000.00 Bonds of the Houston County Texas
Consolidated Road Distr lct No. 2, 4,~' bonds, due in 1964 and 1965 for 5 81000.00 Kerr County
Court House and Jail Bonds, 5,~ bonds, due 1 in 1984, 2 in 1965, and L is 1966, said bonds now
being owned by said School Fund, end adjustment of interest at date of delivery.
It appearing to the Court that suoki bond trade would be to the best interest of the Rerr
County Permanent School Fund, the consummation of said trade be end Ss hereby authorized by
the Court, upon the final acaeptanca or rejection oP said proposed trade by said Ranson,

showing an actual and necessary expense of $86.80, incurred by him in the conduct of his

On this, the 14th day of October, 1940, Dame on to be heard by the Commissioners' Court
of Kerr County, Texas, at a regular term of such court, the petition of Pifty free-holders of
Lhe hereinafter described subdivision of said Kerr County, Texas, Piled herein on the 12th
day of October, 1940, praying that this court order an election to be held in such subdivision
for the purpose of enabling the freeholders thereof to determine whether horses, mules, jacks
jennets and cattle shall be permitted to run at large therein, and, it appearing to the court
that such petition-is in due form, that no election for such purpose has ever been carried in
said subdivision, that no election to determine said question has been held therein within
twelve months prior to the filing of such petition, that the hereinafter described subdivisio
stands designated as one within which suoh an election may be held, to-wit, by order of this
on the 23rd day oP November, 1940, and that such petition should be granted, it is sec ordingl
