On th le the 14th day of July, 1941, there wen held a point meeting with the Kerrville
Chamber of Commeroe and the City of Kerrville, for the purpose of diso veaion is regards to the
Air poet Conetruotioa in the near future in Barr County, Tessa. After due deliberation had bq
said Chamber of Commerce and City of Kerrville end the Commiaeionera' Court and their respeo-
tive representatives it wen unanimously adopted and ordered by Bald reapeotive organizations
that a delegation of three men should go to Weak ington, u. C., and contaot Charles L, South,
Representative of this Dietriot and have said Representative make an appointment with the
Civil Aieenautio Adminie tration for the purpose of obtaining all information possible Sn re-
gards to the loosl Airport, and al eo the re quirsmeata to be had or made by the three orgeaiza-
tloae above mentioned for the purpose of obtaining Aid in aeo uring the neoeesary ground sad
location for said Airport. It wen further adopted sad ordered that john S. Atkins, County
Judge of Kerr County, Tezes, A. P. Hancock, City Manager of the City of Kerrville, Tezea, and
Gober Gibson, Postmaster of Kerrv Slle, Tezea, be end the same are hereby delegated Lo make aei
trip to Washington for the purposes above mentioned. It is further ordered by the Court that
Kerr County will pay the ezpaneee of said Tohn S. Atklna, out of the General Xund, neoeesary
for making said trip. And it is further ordered by the Commisaionere' Court that said Judge
Atkins ie granted pe rmieaion by the said Court to leave the 3tste of Tease for the length of
time required to make said appointments in Washington and for the purpose of obtaining all of
the information neoeesary and raqulred of Kerr County, Texas, in the building oP said loosl
Airport.
