On this the 14th day of July, 1941, there wsa held a ~oiat meeting with the Kerrville
Chamber of Commerce end the City of Kerrville, for the purpose of dlso ueaion in regards to the
Air Font Conetruotlon in the near future Sn Kerr County, Tezas. After due deliberation had by
said Chamber of Commerce and City of Kerrville and the Commisaloner s' Court and their respeo-
tive representatives it wen unanimously adopted and ordered Dy aeld reapeotive orgenizationa
that a delegation of three men should go to Weak ington, L. C., and oontaot Charlee L. South,
Representative of this Dlstriot and have said Representative make an appointment with the
Civil A2eenautlo Adminiatration for the purpose of obtaining all information poaeible in re-
garde to the loosl Airport, and also the requirements to be had or made by the three organiza-
tions above mentioned for the purpose of obtaining ASd Sn eeouriag the neoeasary ground and
b oat ion for Bald Airport. It was further adopted end ordered Lhat John S. Atkins, County
Judge of Kerr County, Tezea, p. P. Hanaook, City Manager of the City of Kerrville, Tease, and
Gober Gibson, Poatmaeter of Kerrville, Tezas, be and the same are hereby delegated to make sa1~
trip to Washington for the purposes above mentioned. It ie further ordered by the Court that
Kerr County will pay Lhe ezpeneea of said John S. Atkins, out of the General Xund, neoeasary
for making said trip. And it is further ordered by the Commieaion era' Court Shat said Judge
Atkins is granted pe rmieaion by the Bald Court to leave the 3tete of Tease for the length of
Lime required to make said appo intmenta in Washington and for the purpose of obtaining all of
the Snformat ion neoeasary and required of Rerr County, Tezas, in the building of said local
Airport.
