N0. 2548. PURCHASE.OF 4 X100.00 U. S. DEFENSE BONDS SERIES 6, OUT OF PERMANENT SCHOOL FDND.
On this the 12th day of January, A. D. 1942, it appearing to the Court that the permanent
School Fund of Kerr County, Tezas, hee a surplus on hand 1n the sum of X400.00 at the present
time, and it Yurther appearing to the Court that said #400.00 should be invested in some
interest bearing bonds. And it further appearing to the Court that the United States Govern-
ment at the preaest ties ie in greet need of funds and that said united States Government hna
for sale United States Savings Bonds Defence Series 6 in the amounts of X100.00, bearing
interest at the rat• of 2}~ per annum, payable semi-annually, said bonds maturing 12 years
after date.
