ment.of Indebtedness, expenditures and reoelpta of Kerr County, for quarter ending April 30th,
1942, submitted and filed by Jno. R. Leavell, County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that)
said statement is true and correct in every respect, same be and is hereby approved by the
Court,

N0. 2629. REDUCTION OF COUNTY ATTORNEY'S SALARY.
This 12th day of May, A. D. 1842, it appearing to the Court that Jim Weatherby, County
Attorney of Karr County, Texas, is in the Armed Foraes oP the United States, and that during
the time he was aotively engaged 1n the preatiae of County Attorney he was also employed to
oolleat the taxes on the delinquent taz rolls of Kerr County, affi that during such time as he ~
worked on the delinquent taz rolls his salary was increased Yrom X30.00 per month to $80.00
per month. It further appearing that since the said County Attorney is unable to attend to
the collection of taxes on the delinquent tax rolls his salary should be reduced to the sum
of $30,00 per month. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said County Attorney's
salary shall be and the same is hereby ordered reduoed to the sum of 30.00 per month, beginn-j
ing May lqt, 1942, said sum to be paid out of the General Fund.

General Fund, beginning May 12th, 1942, and a like sum oP X6.00 on the 15th day of each and
every month thereafter until the further orders of this pourt.

~NO. 2631. ALLOWANCE OF $45.00 TO KERRVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY .FOR MAINTENANCE.
This 12th day of May, A. D. 1942, came on to bo h@ard the applioation of the Kerrville
Public Library Yor its maintenance from July 1st, 1942 to Deoembar 31st, 1942, in the monthly
sum of '7.50. And it appearing to the court that said Llbrary is benafioial to the Oapimunity '
and that same should be kept in operation, provided that the City of Kerrville shall pay half
of the expense. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the County Clerk issue voucher
drawn against the County Treasurer in the sum of $45.00 to be paid out of the Ceneral Fund,
attd said sum shall be paid to the City for the purpose of maintananoe of the Kerrville Public
library far the period beginning July 1st, 1942 to Deoember 31 at, 1942.
