ment.of Indebtedness, expenditures and receipts of Karr County, for quarter ending April 30th,'
1942, submitted and filed by Jno. R. Leavell, County Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that)
said statement is true and correct in every respect, same be and is hereby approved by the
Court.

NO. 2629. REDUCTION OF COUNTY ATTORNEY'S SALARY.

This 12th day of May, A. D. 1942, it appearing to the Court that Jim Weatherby, County
Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, is in the Armed Forces of the United States, and that during
the time he was actively engaged in the practice of County Attorney he was_also employed to
collect the taxes on the delinquent tax rolls of Kerr County, and that during such time ae he~~
worked on the delinquent tax rolls hie salary was increased from X30.00 per month to X80.00
per month, It further appearing that since the said County Attorney is unable to attend to
the collection of taxes on the delinquent tax rolls his salary should be reduced to the sum
oP X30,00 per month. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said County Attorneys '
salary shell be and the same is hereby ordered reduced to the sum of $30.00 per month, begins-~
ing May let, 1942, said sum to be paid out of the General Fund.

General Fund, beginning Belay 12th, 1942, and a like sum of $6.00 on the 15th day oP each and
every month thereafter until the further orders of thla court..

N0. 2631, ALLOWANCE OF X45,00 Ta KERRVILLE PUffi.IC LIBRARY FOR MAINTENANCE.
This 12th day of May, A. D. 1942, came on to ba hgard the application of the Kerrville
Public Library Yor its maintenance from July Est, 1942 to December 31st, 1942, in the monthly
sum of X7.50. pnd it appearing to the court that said Library is beneficial to the Oopwunity
and that same should be kept in aperatlon, provided that the Citq of Kerrville shall pay half
of the expense. It is therefore ordered by the Court that the County Clerk issue voucher
drawn against the County Treasurer in the sum of $45.00 to be paid out of the General Fund,
er~d said sum shell be paid to the City for the purpose of maintenance oP the Kerrville Public
Library for the period beginning July 1st, 1942 to December 31st, 1942.
