This 13th day of July, A, D. 1942, acme on to be exeminsd by the Court, the various
and eacounts filed against Kerr County and its respective Commissioners` preodnets since the
last term of the Court, all of which claims and accounts were approved by the Court for pay-
ment by the County Clerk in amounts and out of respective fu~a as shown by the Minutes of
Accounts Allowed for Kerr County, Texas, which are made a part of this order.

N0. 2846. PRIVATE ROAD WORK WITH COLidTY MACHIP7ERY.
On this the 13th day of July, A. D. 1942, it is ordered by the Court that hereafter
all private work done Yor individuals by any County Machinery, in any Precinct, besides
terracing, shall be done and charged for at the rate of $3.00 per hour, instead of 2.00 per
hour as heretofore charged. That terracing shall be done for 75~ to 90¢ per 100 feet. The
County to furnish the machinery and labor in all private work done for lnd iv idual s.

N0. 2647. LEAVE OF B,DSENCE GRANTED COUNTY JUDCE TO LEAVE TiiE STATE OF TEXAS.
On this the 13th day of July, A. D. 1942, came on to be heard the application of County
Judge, John S. Atkins, for leave of absence from the State of Texas Por a period of two weeks,
for reason of business matters which require his personal attention, and that said business
matters can be attended to in said two weeks leave of absence. And it appearing to the Court
that said application is well taken and should be granted. It is therefore ordered, adjudged
and decreed by the Commissioners` Court of Kerr County, Texas, that the application of the
County Judge, Sohn S. Atkins, be and the same is hereby granted and that said John S. Atkins,
County Judge, shall have two weeks leave of absence from the State of Texas for business
matters which require his personal attention.

N0. 2648. EXAMINATION AND APPROVAL OF DELINQUENT TAX RECORD OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS.
This 13th day of July, A. D. 1942, came on to be inepeaxed and examined by the Court the
162 page Delinquent Tax Record of Kerr County, Texas, containing 6,754 lines, covering all
delinquent taxes owing the State and County in Kerr County, Texas, for the years 1919 to 1940.-,
inclusive, prepared and compiled as required by Articles 7321-7322, Revised Civil ~tatutes.'of
1925 and Senate Bill No. 407, Acts of the 44th Legislature, and 1t appearing to the Court
careful examination of said delinquent tax record that same is true and correct, and same be
and is hereby in open Court approved in every respect.
And it Purther appearing to the Court that the cost or prise for compiling said record
in the sum of $337.70, is fair and reasonable and said claim in favor of E. H. Nichols for
said amount be and is hereby allowed and approved, to be paid by the County and State as
provided by law.

This 13th day of July, A. D. 1942, came nn to b.e examined by the Court the Supplemental
Pledge Contract of Chas. Schreiner Hank, (Unincorporated) of Kerrville, Texas, pledging unto
Kerr County, Texas, in addition to the X50,000.00. already pledged, X10 ,000.00 worth of 2'~
Uvalde County Texas Road Bonds, Series 1938, dated October 15th, 1938, for $1,000.00 each,

aforesald be and is hereby accepted and approved by the Court, and the County Clerk shall sand
same to the State Comptroller for approval and thereafter same shall be recorded by the County
Clerk in the official Bond Record of Kerr County.
