showing the sum of $22.20 collected and deposited with the County Treasurer, entitling him to,
acco rdi~ to said report, a fee of $18.00, and it ap peer ing to the Court that se id report is
correct, same be and is he reDy approved, end the County Clerk end County Treasurer are there-
fore authorized aml directed to pay unto Justice Bennett the sum of $18.00 as follows; $9.00
out of the Road and Hridge Fund and #9.00 out of the General Fuld.

This 14th day of September, A. D. 1942, it is ordered by the Court that the pay or oom-
pensation of the Sheriff for feeding prisoners be and is hereby increased from sixty (60) aen
to seventy (70) cents per day Por each prisoner, ePPeet lve this date, cordi tinned however,
that Lhe Sheriff shall Pile with the Cols t each month at its regular term, a complete itemized
bill covering ell prisoners fed by him during Lhe preoeding month, and each oP sash monthly
pr isoners~ board bills or reports shall show the date and hour each of such prisoners was
placed 1n jail and when he was released, as the oompensation allowed herein is based et the
rate of 35~ Por each meal furnished.
