Weatherby is now on active duty in the Army of the United States and that St is impossible Por him under such ciroumstanoes to fulfill the duties oP said oPPioe; that it would be to the best interest of the people of Kerr County for the resignation of Mr. Weatherby to be accepted and the office of County Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, be dealared vacant. And it Pur ther appearing to the Court that L. W. Pollard, a citizen oP Kerr County, Texa is a duly qualified and practicing attorney and in all ways qualified to fulfill the duties of the County Attorney's of Pice. Therefore, upon motion duly made, seoo nded and unanimously adopted, it is ordered that t resignation of Jim Weatherby as County Attorney of Kerr County, Texas, be and is hereby accepte ; the County Attorney's Office be declared vacant, and that L. COUNTY DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT OF $100,000.00, IN LIEU OF $60,000.00 CONTRACT. On this 14th day oP June, 1943, came on to be conai dared by the Court the matter of the pledge Contract entered into by the Chas. Schreiner Benk (Unincorporated) ea County Depository at the February term of this Court, wherein said Chas. Schreiner Bank (Unincorporated)pledged securities in the amount of $60,000.00. And it appearing to the Court that said amount of $60,000.00 is insufficient and that the amount of said Pledge Contraot should be increased from $60,000.00 to A100,000.00. And it further appearing to the Co art that the said Chas. Schreiner Benk (Unincorporated) is desir- ious of entering into a new pledge Contract in the sum of $100,000,00, therefore upon motion duly made, seconded, end unanimously adopted, it is or dared that the yledge contract oŁ the Chas. Schreiner Bank (Unincorporated) as Depository for bounty funds be acd is hereby increased from $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 and that said Chas.
