On this Lhe 10th day of August, 1943, came on to ba considered by the Court the matter of
the continuation of the payment of expenses for L. L. Leslie, Chairman of the Kerr County War
Price and Rationing Board, as per order of the court entered on the 8th day of March, 1943,
and it appearing to the Court that the continuation of such payments would be en advantage to
the public es a whole, therefore upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted it is
ordered that the said L. L. Leslie be paid the sum of $75.00 per month out of the General Fund
of Kerr County, pending further order of the Court,

and all members of the Court being present, cazi~e on for consideration the adoption of the
County budget as prepared by the County Judge end County Clerk and filed with the County Clerk ~
for public inspection. Proper notices having been given on the 11th d.ay of August, A. D. 1943,
by the Cn unty Jud r;e by the posting of a cony of ssid notice at the Court Hn use door in the
City oP Kerrville, Texas, e copy of which notice being attached to said budget.
No interested tax-payers apve ar ing before the Court, after thorough examination and con-
