No. 2864. ADOPTION OF THE COUNTY BUDGET FOR 194y,,.AND LEVY OF 1943, COUNTY TAXES.

On this the 21st day of August, A. D. 1943, the Commissioners' Court oP the County of Kerr
State of Texas, convened in regular session, present and presiding Sohn S, Atkin e, County Judge
and all members of the Court being present, came on for consideration the adoption of the
County Budget as prepared by the County Judge, end County Clerk and filed with the County Clerk
for public inapeotion. Proper notices having been given on the 11th day of August, A. D. 1943,
by .the County Judge by the posting of a copy of said not iae et the Court House door in the
City of Kerrville, Texas, a copy of which notice being ettae had to said budget.
No interested tez-payers appearing before the Court, after thorough examination end con-
sideration of said County Budget by the Court, upon motion made, seconded end unanimously
adopted said County Budget for 194'6 as heretofore eompIied by the County Judge and County Clerk
and tentatively approved by the Court at its last Regular Session, be end is hereby approved
and adopted by the Court.
It is therefore ordered by the Court that County, Road, School and ~peoiel Taxes for Kerr
County, Texas, for the year 1943, be and are hereby levied at the following rates based on each
100.00 valuation, to-wit:
Tury Fund 4 oents
Road and Hr idge Fund 2 cents
General Fund 25 cents
$err County Road Hond Sinking Fund 25 cents
Court House & Tail Sinking Fund 10 cents
Airport Bonds of 1941 04 cents
EQaking a total county-wide tax rate of Sedenty($.70) cents on each X100.00 valuation.
Occupation taxes, one-half that charged by the State of Texe s.
County Poll Tax, 25 cents on each male and fame le.
Road District No. 1 Sinking Fund, five cents on each SE100.00 valuation.
