'douse Bill Number 368, Aets of the 4ESth Legislature, Regular Session, 1943. And it appear ing
to the Court that the Co.;im iss ions is Court and Citizens of Bandera County, Texas, are desirous
of cooperat inp; with tho Comraiseio ner 's Court o£ Kerr County, Texas, in the joint employment of
~~ a Ve terun'a County Service Of ficar; the exne nse of sa rts to be pro-rated between said counties
on a basis of the nwrib er of persons serving in the armed forces of the United States from eaoh
of said c~+u ntie s.
And it further appear ing to the Court that Rufus 0. Freemen is a person possessing all th
yual ifica ti ons required for such Service Off ieer end is willing to accept such appaintme nt and
employ~7e nt for a salary of $50.00 per month plus a reasonable traveling expense.
TiiErtEFORE upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted it is ordered by the
Court that the said Rufus 0. Freeman be and is hereby app o in tad and employed es Veteran's Count
.,e rv ice Officer, ser visg Kerr and Bandera Counties, Texas, at a salary of 50.00 a month to be
paid uut of the General Fund of Kerr County, Toxas.
It is further ordered by the Court that. the County Treasurer of Karr County, Texas, shall
from month to month estimate the pro-rate share of said salary ¢nd expense to be raid by Bander
County, Texas, and forward e bill for such cost and expense to the County Clerk of Bend era
County for payment.
It i:, further ordered by the Court that tho County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, forward
e certified copy of this order to the Commissioner's Court of Bandera County.
