Senate Bill No. 5, Chapter 465, passed ąt First Called Session of the 44th Legie latur e, presci
ing compensation of Dis<.r ict, County and Precim t OPf is ers, and St appearing to the Court that
it is the best interest of Kerr County and its oPPic ers that all of the District, County and
Precinct officers of Kerr County be compensated on the Pee basis for the year 1944.
It is therefore ordered, adjudged and den reed by the Court that all District, County end
Precinct Offio ers of Kerr County be co mpensate3 Por their ser vio es during the ye er 1944, on a
ear nad fee basis, and until otherwise determined by this Court. And the County Clerk shall
forward a car of ied copy of this order to the Comptroller oP Public Accounts, Austin, Tez es,
as directed in the herein mentioned act of the Legislature.

John S. Atkins as CounL.y Judge of Kerr County, Texas, be and is hereby fixed at the Po llow ing
amount for the current year, 1944, as follows:
As County Judge the sum of X1320.00 per annum. Said salary of ~132C.00 es such County
Judge be paid unto Judge Atkins by the County Clerk out of the Road and Bridge Fund in equal
