out cf the Cene ral Fund for the purpose of hir ing an office deputy, as provided by the 1944
County Budget, and same shall be paid by the County Treasurer direct to Deputy Pat Washburn or ~~i

This the 10th day of January, A. D. 1944, it is ordered and decreed by the Court that the
Compensation of the Comnissi Doers of Kerr County be and is hereby fixed by the Court for the
current ye er, 1944, sec ording to the 1943-1944 County Budget, as follows:
Each commissioner shall receive 5.00 per day as per diem for each day served by him as a
me r.,ber of the Commissioners' Court to be paid out of the General Road and Br ldge Fund, and eacl
Co:mnisslo ner shall further receive 5.00 for each day served in the inspection end supervision
of County iioa ds, same to be paid out of the k2oad and Bridge Fund of his respective Precinct,
pr ovlded however, that the total compensation or salary of each Commissioner shall not exceed
the following amounts agreed upon, to-wit:
Commissioner of i'r ~circt No. 1 the sum of ~1 ,200.00 for the year, 1944.
Commissioner of Prec ir,ct No. 2 the sum of .700.00 for the year, 1944

Culwell has rendered satisfactory service in the past as the County Judge's Assistant for Kerr
