ordered that said bond be purchased for the benefit of the permanent school fund and that upon
delivery of said bond to Ches. Schreiner Hank, that said bank be and is hereby authorized to
pay The Columbian Securities Corporation the sum of $537.17 out of the permanent School fund
of Kerr County.

No. 3192. INC1iEASE IN COMPENSSTION FOR COUNTY CLERK AND DEPUTIES
On this the 14th day of August, 1945, came on to be considered by the Court the matter of
an increase in salary for Jno. R. Leavell, County Clerk, and the 3eput ies employed by him, as
provided.under Senate B111 jf123, 49th Legislature, Regular Session, 1945. And it appearing to
the Court that the increase in salaries for the various county officers and their deputies as
contemplated by said Senate Hill 123 are just end reasonable and that soh increase should be
allowed. Therefore, upon motion duly made, seconded snd unanimously adopted it is ordered by
the Court that the said Jno. R. issue ll be and is hereby authorized to pay from the fees of hi
~ office the increased salary for his deputies as provided under Senate B111 X123 and further
that the said Jno. R. Is avell, County Clerk b8 end is hereby authorized after the payment of
the salaries oP his deputies to retain the maxium amount as provided under said Senate Hill ea
compensation for his services as County Clerk.

appear inr to the Court that the increase in salaries for the various county of Dicers end their
deputies os contemplated by said Senate Bill /123 are just and reasonable and that such inerea
should be allowed. The ref are, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted it is
ordered by the Court that the said E. H. Nichols be and is hereby authorized to pay from the
fees of his office the increased salary for his deputies as provided under Senate Bill j{123 eni
further that the said K. H. Nichols, Tex Assessor and Collector be and is hereby authorized
after the payment of the salaries of his deputies to retain the maxium amount as provided ande~
said Senate Hill as compensation for his services as County Glerk.

adopted it is ordered that the County Clerk draw voucher on the County Treasurer payable to
Sher iPf, n. F. Lloor e, the monthly salary of $225.00, beginning August 1st, 1945, to be payable
out of the General Fund.
