On this the 14th day of Au?ust, 1945, came on to be considered 6y the Court the matter of
an increase in salary for Jno. R. Leavell, County Clerk, and the deputies employed by him, as
provided under ;mute Bill jJ123, 49th Legislature, Regular Session, 1945. And it appearing to
the Court that the inoreasa in salarles Por the various county officers end their deputies as
contemplated by said Senate Hill 123 are just end reasonable and that such increase should be
allowed. Therefore, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted it is ordered by
_ the Court that the said Jno. R. Leavell be and is hereby authorized to pay from the fees of hi
~~ office the increased salary for his deputies as provided under Senate H111 #123 and further
that the Bald Jno. H. Leavell, County Clerk b6 and is hereby authorized after the payment of
