for an election in Cypress Creek Common School District No. 9 of this County on the question
of increasing the school tae of said district to the rate of Fifty Cents on the $100 valuatio.

apportioned to said diatr ict, said petition bearing the requisite number of signatures of re-

formity with law; and,
It appearing that Herr County contains a population of 11,650 ac oording to the last Dn1t
States Census; and,
It further appearing that said Cypr esa Creek Common School Diatr ict No. 9 has bees here-
toPO re properly establ is had; and,
It further appearing that said district as so established contains an area of 59 square
miles and no other district has been reduced in area below nine square miles by reason of the
creation of this dis trlct;
Now, therefore, I, John ~. Atkins, in my official oapac ity es County Judge of Ee rr County
Texas, do hereby order that en election be held on the 4th day of May, 1948, et Seh ool House
in said Cypr esa Creek Common School Dia trict No. 9, of this Couaty to determine whether a ma~-

County as is required by law for holding a general election.
