COUNTY OF K E R R .: WHEREAS, on the 8th day of Apr ll, 1946, a pa tit ion was presented to me
for en election in Cypress Creek Common Sohool District No. 9 of this County on the question
of increasing the school tae of said r~i strict to the rate of Fifty Cents on the $100 valuetio.

States Census; and,
It further appearing that said Cypress Creek Common School District No. 9 has been here-
tofore properly eatabl is had; and,
It further appearing that said district as so established contains an area of 59 square
miles and no other district has been reduced in area below nine square miles by reason of the
oreation of this district;
Now, therefore, I, John S. Atkins, in my official oapac ity ae County Jddge oP Kerr County
Teaea, do hereby order that an el notion be held on the 4th day of May, 1946, et School House

Fred Seur is hereby appointed Presiding Dffieer for said eleot ion, and he shall sa le et

after said ale at ion has been ha ld, make due return thereof to the Commiesionera Court of this
County ea is required by law for holding a general election.
All persons who ere legally qualified voters ~ this State and of this county and who are
resident property tea-payers in said district end who avn taxable property in se id district ar
who have duly rendered the same for tazation shall be entitled to vote et said election, and
all voters who favor taxation for school purposes shall have written or printed on their balk
the words: "FOR INCREASE OF SCHOOL TAX."
