be held cn the 29th day oP Tune, 1946, at School House in said Hunt Common School District No.
5 of this County to determine whether a majority of the legally qualified property teapaying
voters of that Di etri ct desire to increase the tax supplementing t}a State Sohool Fund apport-
Toned to se id District, and to determine whether the Commisa io Wars Court of ttda County shall
be authorized to levy, assess and collect annua lly a tax of and at the rate of ,^p1.50 on the
100 valuation of taxable property in said District for said pu rpo sa. Allen Townsend is hereb
appointed Presiding Officer for said ale co en, and he shall select two judges and twc cle r',cs
~- to assist him in holding the same, and he shall, within five days after said election has been
held, make due return thereof to the Commissioners Court of this County as is required by law
for holding a general election. All pe rs one who are legally qualified voters of this State
and of this county and who are resident pm party tax-payers in said district and who own tax-
ably property in said district and who have duly rendered the same for taxation shall be en-
titled to vote at s˘id election, and all voters who favor taxation Por school purposes shall

On Lhis the 10th day of June, A. D. 1946, it appearing to the Court that a County Surveyo
ba.'dppointed to fill the 5aoancy of said office, due to the death of A, L. Starkey, County
Surveyor; that said office be declared vacant, and a new County Surveyor be appointed by the
Court to fill the unexpired term of Bald office.

ordered by the Court that the office oŁ County Surveyor of Karr County shall be in all things
considered vacant, and that F. M. Kuykendall being qualified and desirous to serve out the
